  10. Windows XP keeps freezing after new Windows installation. Please help!?

    August 22, 2010, 2:14 pm
My hard disk has recently been wiped and I have reinstalled Windows XP, and now it keeps freezing... The mouse still moves, but I can't click anything or even use the keyboard to navigate. I am able to log off using the keyboard shortcut and restart the computer, and it works alright for a while, but it continues to freeze after a short while. This is starting to get really annoying, and I have no idea what is causing it. I have tried searching the internet but I can't really find anything. If anyone knows what could be causing this, or even better, how to stop this from happening, please let me know. Thanks.
